It’s like when a Twilight fan makes a meme on how much they love Edward Cullen, that post is then reblogged to the nth degree by Harry Potter fans with nothing but abuse and laughter directed at the original blogger. or WORSE, they take a SCREENSHOT of it, so that way they can laugh about that person behind their back. I have seen this many times and it sickened me each time and made me self conscious of what I posted. It’s a spinless fuck thing to do.

But if a Harry Potter fan posts a quote from HP, that quote is then reblogged a thousand times and the reactions are as such “OMG CRYING” “Literally, TEAR, OMG THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL”. As if it’s anything different, really.

Why the elitism? Why is it OK for Harry Potter fans to swoon over their favorite topic, but it’s laughable for Twilight fans to?

I used Darren Criss as the catalyst to start this debate with you all because of the treatment I recieved as well as the past 2 weeks of “OMG DARREN IS ON ELLEN” followed by all day yesterday every single behind the scenes shot was blogged and reblogged with the same comments “OMG CRYING!” “COULD THIS BE TRUE! MY LIFE IS MADE”. if that was a twilight fan, you would be laughing at them.

How is this fullfilling but a Twilight fans life so unfulling? Why the need to tell someone they’re pathetic for liking something different? for being something different. Fuck, why the need to blog every single out of focus behind the scenes shot and proclaim it’s making you cry.

I read a quote yesterday that said “Either they’re so pathetic to cry over an elbow, or they’re lying about crying, either way I can’t trust them”. And that made me think. If a twilight fan builds a twilight bedroom, she gets slaughtered by HP fans. But a HP bedroom is praised.

If I was soft and whispered about this, noone of you would have noticed how you are treating each other.

As someone in a wheelchair from a hate crime I am sickened by this High School bully mentality.

Is a Justin Bieber fan so laughable for swooning over him when you’re doing the same over Darren Criss?

So to the “fuckyeahstarkid” blog who sent out the call to send me hate. You are the most pathetic example of “Fan” I have ever had the displeasure to come across.

I don’t personally like Twilight but I will smile and be happy for my friends who get excited about it.
